Geomembrane Liners

Description:

Cherokee Manufacturing supplies geomembrane liners for pond, containment, and lining applications where a durable, impermeable barrier is required. We offer LLDPE, PVC, and HDPE liner options, each suited to different flexibility, chemical resistance, and budget needs. Talk with our team about your site conditions and we’ll help you choose the right liner material and thickness.

LLDPE Liner

Linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) liner offers a flexible, puncture- and stress-crack-resistant membrane that conforms well to uneven subgrades. It’s a common choice for ponds, lagoons, secondary containment, and covers where flexibility and ease of installation matter as much as chemical resistance.

PVC Liner

PVC liner is a flexible, cost-effective membrane well suited to decorative ponds, irrigation canals, and smaller containment applications. It remains pliable in cold weather and is easy to seam and repair in the field, though it should be matched carefully to the chemicals it will be exposed to.

HDPE Liner

High-density polyethylene (HDPE) liner is the industry standard for landfills, mining, and industrial containment where chemical resistance and long-term durability are the top priority. It’s stiffer than LLDPE or PVC, so it performs best over well-prepared, uniform subgrades.

Geomembrane Liner FAQs

What is the difference between LLDPE, PVC, and HDPE liner?

LLDPE is flexible and conforms well to uneven ground, PVC is flexible and easy to seam for smaller applications, and HDPE is stiffer with the strongest chemical resistance, making it the standard for landfills and industrial containment.

What thickness of liner do I need?

Liner thickness depends on your application, the chemicals or materials being contained, and site conditions. Give our team your project details and we’ll help you select the right thickness.

Are these liners UV resistant?

LLDPE and HDPE liners are formulated with UV stabilizers for long-term outdoor exposure. PVC liner should generally be covered or buried for the longest service life.
