The Blue Bag Dome (by Erosion Blue) was developed to provide an above-ground solution for inlet protection where traditional under-grate filters are not practical or where surface sediment control is preferred. Instead of capturing sediment beneath the grate, the Blue Bag Dome sits directly over the inlet, allowing water to pass through the fabric while trapping sediment on the outside of the dome before it can enter the storm sewer system.
This design makes the Blue Bag Dome ideal for ditch bottoms, low areas, and special above-ground applications where runoff carries sediment toward a drain or pipe inlet.
Constructed from 6 oz non-woven geotextile fabric over a 30-inch diameter wire frame, the Blue Bag Dome provides durable, high-flow filtration while maintaining structural shape during runoff events.
